The Young and the Restless spoilers for Tuesday, July 11th, tease that Jill has some depressing words for her son, Cane.

Thanks, Captain Obvious!

Seated on the couch in Jill’s (Jess Walton) living room, Mama and Cane (Daniel Goddard) have a heart-to-heart. Jill weighs in on her son’s recent troubles.

She tells him she doesn’t know how his family’s ever going to recover from this.

Related: Jason Thompson took to social media to share a moving message upon his pet’s passing.

His face in his hands, Cane says he’s not sure that it will.

Jack (Peter Bergman), meanwhile, relishes Brash’s troubles.

And–wait for it!–the paternity test results come back.

Tickling the Ivories

Don’t Miss: Eileen Davidson quit this show because of her demanding daytime schedule.

From behind a grand piano, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) exudes confidence as she tells Jack she’s all ready for her performance. She sweetly demands that he be there. He is happy to see his friend so…well, happy too!

Meanwhile, Nick (Joshua Morrow) resorts to extreme measures to help his mother.

The Manipulator Will See You Now

Over at Newman Enterprises, Victor (Eric Braeden) asks Hilary (Mishael Morgan) for a meeting. She arrives and asks him what he wanted to see her about.

He tells her, “The story that people actually want to see!” In a conversation between Victor and Hilary, that should make us all uneasy, right dear Soap Cities readers?
