The Days of Our Lives spoilers for Thursday, July 6th, predict that Hope doesn’t respond quite in the way Rafe expected to his popping of the big question!

You What?!

Usually, if you’ve arrived at the place where you’re ready to ask your one-and-only to marry you, you’re relatively confident that he or she will just say yes. That was probably how Rafe (Galen Gering) was feeling when he decided to propose to Hope (Kristian Alfonso). So, he surprisde her with a ring. But Thursday, he’s taken aback by her response to his matrimonial query!

Awkward But Tender

Several Salem-ites are still trying to recover from the chaos wreaked by being dosed with Halo the night of the party at the Martin house. Eric (Greg Vaughan) and Nicole (Arianne Zucker) are two such people! The two start to remember key moments from the night of the party.

Also, Nicole is touched by something Eric does. It’s nice to see these two getting along–without being high!–right, dear Soap Cities readers?

Thank goodness that whenever need be, Marlena (Deidre Hall) can hypnotize people to solve a host of problems for people. Thursday, Lani (Sal Stowers) is hypnotized by Salem’s favorite doc in the hopes that she can access memories from the night Deimos was murdered.
