It’s true fans! Carly Schroeder, who played Serena Baldwin on General Hospital spinoff Port Charles, is finally checking into GH !

A Fan Fave Comes “Back”

While not officially a GH cast member, Schroeder became a big hit with fans during her time on PC.

Well, she’s on her way “back” to the ABC sudser, according to a Tweet by GH’s official account.

“I couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful return,” Schroeder told our good friends at Soap Opera Digest.

Schroeder will be on the show to celebrate Scott’s father, Lee Baldwin. Peter Hansen, who portrayed him passed away recently.

Don’t Miss: Peter Hansen’s death sparked an emotional online post by Shriner.

Some History and Questions

Serena was written off the canvas, but remained on her parents, Lucy (Lynn Herring) and Scott (Kin Shriner), and fans’ minds. Lucy and Scott often bring her up  in conversation and clearly are still deeply connected by their parenting her.

So, are you excited, GH fans? Do you think Serena will stick around? Will she get her dad to confess to helping Ava (Maura West)? What will she think of Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) and Laura (Genie Francis) being together? We’d love to hear your thoughts!
