A Sense-itive Guy

Gregory penned a radio play that we think sounds pretty inspired. It’s called, “Powder Burns.” It’s about a blind sheriff and his law enforcement adventures. Guess who played Sheriff Burns? John Wesley Shipp!

David Gregory played Robert Ford on OLTL from 2009 to 2012, of the Fabulous Ford Brothers. Shipp, a veteran soap actor, played his father, Eddie Ford.

Don’t Miss: OLTL icon James DePaiva is headed to General Hospital.

Also, we love the idea of a radio play in this day and age! Don’t you, dear Soap Cities readers?

High Praise Indeed

“For those of you wondering, here stands a better man than the one you see on screen. A gentle man who exceeds expectations. Approachable. Regal,” Gregory said of Shipp and a pic of them together.

Before You Go: Get to know OLTL alum Judith Light!

He goes on to say that Shipp pretty much knocked it out of the park in all seven episodes of the Powder so far. He said that Shipp did an especially amazing job in the latest episode of the series, which centers on a struggle many of us can relate to, that of those with Alzheimer’s Disease.
