Marci Miller Dishes on Abby, Chabby, and What’s Ahead!

The Days of Our Lives Star offered her take on whether there will be a Chabby reunion!

The Flame’s Not Extinguished Yet!

Abby’s portrayer, Marci Miller, gave her thoughts on this sticky situation in an interview with Soap Hub.

“She’s not thrilled about going ([o the re-opening]because she goes with Dario and has to begin the process of selling to the rest of the town that they are in love with each other, when she’s really just marrying him because she’s being dutiful to her friend,” Miller said of her character.

Seeing Chad at the event of course brings up feelings for Abby. “She’s hyper aware of him the entire time, and there are a couple of glances across the room at each other. She wants to be with Chad,” Miller said.

An Inconvenient Situation

It’s been a rough journey for Chad (Billy Flynn) and Abby (Marci Miller). The couple, now on the brink of divorce, just rediscovered each other after it was revealed that Abby, thought to be deceased, was hiding in an attic, of all places. Complicating matters further is the fact that Chad is now involved with Gabi (Camilla Banus) and Abby is set to wed Dario (Jordi Vilasuso). Naturally, it’s inevitable that the four will run into each other at some point and they do just that at the re-opening of Martin House.

Chad and Gabi–Not So Fast!

Just when it looks as if Chad and Abby have no chance to renew their love, luck comes in a somewhat perverse form. Deimos Kiriakis (Vincent Irizzary) who, with stealing the amulet from Sonny (Freddie Smith), dresses as a waiter and sneaks into the event, drugging guests’ drinks with the Halo. Abby and Chad, felled by their spiked drinks, share a kiss in a bedroom and reminisce about happier times.

“You see that the love is still there between them, probably more than it’s ever been,” said Miller. Deimos’s spiteful act might have had the unintended consequence of propelling the two back into each other’s arms, but can their passion prevail?
