The Young and the Restless spoilers for Monday, May 8th, predict that Scott and Abby clash, and in their clashing, sparks ignite!

Like Two Amorous Flints

Over coffee at Crimson Lights, Scott (Daniel Hall) chuckles as Abby (Melissa Ordway) gets animated and loud. She tells him she’s glad he’s not writing Victor’s (Eric Braeden) book, as he’d probably just paint her as a bimbo. But everything on their faces and in their body language screams, “I WANT YOU!” Perhaps now would be a good time for Ben (Sean Carrigan) to come out of the woodwork and remind everyone he’s married to Abby, right, dear Soap Cities readers?

The Cunning Winters Boys

Normally Neil (Kristof St. John) and Devon (Bryton James) aren’t schemers, but they’re operating in the business world these days, where emotions–and even ethics–have no place if you want to win, some say. In that vein, Neil tells a curious Ashley (Eileen Davidson) that he and his son are after Mergeron Enterprises, her mom’s company.

Also: Who should Devon be with–Hilary or Mariah?

Oh, What a Night!

Well, it wasn’t late December back in ’63, but it was a very special time for Mariah (Camryn Grimes). She tells an annoyed Hilary (Mishael Morgan) that Devon blew her mind. She says her life was sad and pathetic until Devon showed her how great it can be.

Victor, meanwhile, has some information for Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott). Nikki hasn’t exactly been the biggest Victor fan lately, so who knows how she’ll receive it. Although, if it has to do with Chloe and all that mess, perhaps she’ll be very eager to hear with her hubby has to say!

  1. I saw a spark between Abby and Scott, too! This is only their second time sharing scenes together but the chemistry is there. Scott got Abby all worked up and he seemed to be enjoying her anger over her past. Abby’s life has been all work and no play for months now, if I didn’t already know that Sharon and Scott are supposed to be a couple….I might think the show was teasing a Abby/Scott pairing. In any event, I loved their scenes and it was good to see that fire and snark in Abby re-emerge. She was super cute with Scott, despite being mad at him. And Scott made me laugh the way he kept going at her. Maybe if Sharon/Scott don’t work out, something could develop down the line between Abby and Scott. Never know in soapland!!
