Eddie Alderson, who played Matthew Buchanan on One Life to Live, spent a heartwarming visit with his on-screen dad from the soap Robert S. Woods

Families Come In All Shapes

Alderson recently announced that he completed treatment for lymphoma, a form of cancer.

He must be feeling great, given the photo and caption he shared on Instagram last week. See the full post below.

He looks healthy and happy as he hangs with Robert S. Woods, OLTL‘s Bo Buchanan and his real-life family.

Related: Alderson shared an important health milestone on social media recently too.

The More the Better

The greater the amount of loving relationships in our lives, the better–and healthier–it is, right, dear Soap Cities readers?

Alderson said he had an “incredible reunion” with Wood’ clan, whom he calls his second family.

A Family Affair

Also: Kassie DePaiva opened up about her own battle with cancer.

Anderson appeared on OLTL with his sister, Kristen Alderson (ex-Starr Manning). When ABC canceled OLTL, we didn’t see much more of him. That includes when the ABC sudser moved to its online home at TheOnlineNetwork, a Prospect Park production. Kristen, though, appeared as both Starr Manning and Kiki Jerome on General Hospital after OLTL got the axe.

Don’t Miss: The best of the best at the 44th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards.

Impressive Credentials

Eddie has been nominated for two Young Artist Awards and one Daytime Emmy Award.
