OLTL Alum Eddie Alderson Shares Important Health Milestone

Eddie Alderson was diagnosed with lymphoma last year and has since kept fans updated on his progress on social media.

No Surrender!

Alderson posted a pic to Instagram celebrating his last day of chemotherapy. His beaming family is at his side. He notes in the comments that cancer has taught him, above all else, the value of loved ones’ support.

His sister Kristen Alderson (ex-Starr Manning, GH/OLTL, ex-Kiki Jerome, GH). Shared the same pic. She expressed great pride in her brother for getting to this healing landmark.

See both their posts below.

A Tough End to 2016, But a 2017 Ahead Filled With Hope

Last November Alderson revealed he was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma. Fortunately, this form of lymphoma is treatable and we at Soap Cities know he will be cured and maybe even ready to re-enter soap acting!

A Family Affair

Anderson appeared on OLTL with his sister, Kristen Alderson (ex-Starr Manning). When ABC canceled OLTL, we didn’t see much more of him. That includes when the ABC sudser moved to its online home at TheOnlineNetwork, a Prospect Park production. Kristen, though, appeared as both Starr Manning and Kiki Jerome on “General Hospital” after OLTL got the axe.

Impressive Credentials

Eddie has been nominated for two Young Artist Awards and one Daytime Emmy Award.

Last day of chemo! So proud of you @eddiealderson ! #ByeCancer #NoSurrender
