Get ready for The Talk,co-host, Julie Chen, to guest star on the CBS sudser!

Crossing Over

The Talk’s co-host and the host of CBS’s Big Brother will make an appearance as herself on the Wednesday, May 17th episode, according to Soaps In Depth.

An Interview Must-Get!

In the episode, which airs May 17th, Hilary (Mishael Morgan) makes her way to Los Angeles from to try to get Chen to appear on GC Buzz Entertainment Weekly reports. Indeed, having Chen come on the show would be quite the coup for Hilary. “Hilary will stop at nothing to interview her idol, Julie Chen,” hints Y&R Executive Producer Mal Young. The episode will be part of a Hollywood-themed story arc that begins on May 15.

A Parade of Special Stars

Chen, who has co-hosted The Talk since 2010, is no stranger to guest appearances on other shows. She has graced the small screen as herself on Madam Secretary, The Millers, NCIS: Los Angeles and Supergirl. Y&R isn’t a stranger to welcoming special guest stars to its canvas, either. These include Chen’s Talk co-host Sheryl Underwood, who played a justice of the peace, Star Trek’s Nichelle Nichols and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Erika Girardi. It’s anyone’s guess who else notable will turn up in future episodes of the soap!

Soap in the Spotlight

So, Y&R fans, get ready for glitz and glamour when the show “goes Hollywood” during the heart of May sweeps! Will Hilary get her coveted Chen interview? We are betting on yes, but guess we’ll just have to wait and watch to find out for sure!
