Don’t worry, Peter Reckell fans, he’s got an update on what’s he’s up to!

Fans of Days of Our Lives icon, Peter Reckell, could breathe a sigh of relief on Monday when he took to Twitter in a series of missives to fans acknowledging his previous absence from the site and dishing on what’s to come for him.

Family First

Reckell, (ex-Bo Brady) whose wildly popular Days character last checked into Salem for Days’ 50th anniversary in 2015 but was soon killed off by a brain tumor, apologized to fans for being away from the “Twitterverse.” He had some very special reasons though. He is currently focusing on family life in Nashville with wife, Kelly, and daughter, Loden. He Tweeted that his priority now is being very present for his daughter and said that when acting projects arise, he will be sure to let fans know via the site. A Legacy Character

Reckell first began playing the role of Bo Brady in 1983, coming and going over the years, but his fans never wavered in their love for the character, or his epic romance with Hope (Kristian Alfonso). He assured fans in one of his Tweets that he will be acting again. We at Soap Cities think this is highly likely too. He has many television and film credits to his name, and appeared in an off-Broadway production of The Fantastiks in 2016.

Soap Cities will keep you posted on what’s next for Peter!
