“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Wednesday, January 18th reveal an episode of Phyllis and Ashley at odds again, Hillary surprising Mariah, while Lauren does her best to keep her father’s business from going under

You Better Watch it, Miss Thang!

One person who really has no patience for Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) is Ashley (Eileen Davidson). She blames the once-high-powered Jabot exec and Jack’s ex for coming between her “Jackie” (Peter Bergman) and her baby brother, Billy (Jason Thompson). Wednesday Phyllis makes the mistake of crossing Ashley again. What punishment will Ashley mete out to Phyllis this time?

A Boss With an Agenda

No, we don’t mean the kind of agenda you write appointments in. We mean the kind you keep hidden and that motivates all your actions. Hillary (Mishael Morgan) has one of the second kind. And she knows just the poor sap to rope into it: Mariah (Camryn Grimes). For all her outward sarcasm and acting like she doesn’t care about things, inside Mariah wants a successful, happy life and has been trying to get one–even if that means working with Hillary. Tomorrow, Hillary surprises Mariah.

A Captain Must Stay Aboard Her Sinking Ship

Lauren (Tracey Bregman) has poured her heart and soul into Fenmore’s, her father’s legacy. It’s not just a store to her, it’s her heritage. This determined, strong woman continues to make every effort to keep the failing business from failing. Jack wanted to help Lauren, and even Gloria (Judith Chapman) got involved. Someone has to help Lauren, otherwise Fenmore’s is done for.
