“The Young and the Restless” (Y&R) producer Mal Young spoke about what boardroom antics we can expect at Newman Enterprises during February Sweeps.
Nuttiness at Newman
“Victor has spent most of his past pushing his children out the door of Newman Enterprises (NE). But just as he is slated to take on new roles in the family, one of his children will finally step up to the challenge in February,” Young told “Soap Opera Digest” in its latest print issue.
We at Soap Cities wonder who could it be?! Let’s go by family member to see if we can figure it ourselves!
Nick/Noah: Nick (Joshua Morow) seems to be busy raising Christian (aka Sully) while Noah (Robert Adamson) is helping him out at the Underground, working as a bartender.
Victoria: Victoria (Amelia Heinle) is deeply involved with making Brash & Sassy (B&S) a success with her ex-husband Billy Abbott, former mother-in-law Jill Abbott, Jill’s “adopted” son Cane Ashby and his wife, Lily Ashby as B&S model. Let’s not forget she also has her hands full at home with her now SORAS’ed teenage son, Reed Hellstrom (Tristan Lake Leabu), who seems to be a rebel and troublemaker!
Adam: Could Adam come back from the dead in the form of Michael Muhney to take the reins of NE? We seriously doubt it, but we wanted to include all our options anyway!
Summer: We know Summer (Hunter King) loves working at NE, but we haven’t seen her since before Christmas, when she went out of town with her “girlfriends” to a nice island vacay.
Our Pick ~ Abby Newman: With her marriage to Stitch (Sean Carrigan) ending just over a year ago and with no prospective man in sight, we at SC believe Abby (Melissa Ordway) is up to take Victor’s “challenge!” Only time will tell, as we watch Y&R during February sweeps!! That’s what we think.
